New teachers at EBI
Spring semester 2009 just started in February.
EBI was able to invite two new teachers, Gražina Bielousova teaching ‘Introduction into NT Greek’ and Steve Davis teaching ‘Youth ministry’.
Evangelical Bible Institute is in the process of expanding its library!
In November, 2008, the school signed an agreement on the use of electronic library, made available by Euro-Asian Accrediting Association ( www.e-aaa.info ) for its members.
In December, 2008, EBI signed an agreement on mutual cooperation between EBI and LCC International University. This was followed by the Interlibrary Loan Agreement, signed in January, 2009.

On May 18-20, 2006, the life of EBI was marked by a special visit of EAAA (Euro-Asian Accrediting Association of Theological Schools) evaluation board: A. V. Zigalenko, I. Shkulis, I. Okhotnikov, and S. V. Sannikov. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with EBI, its current programs, and to estimate the readiness of the school as it seeks candidacy for accreditation.
The members of the evaluation board had an opportunity to observe how the administration functions, to talk to instructors, to visit classes, and to participate in the morning worship and prayer meeting of EBI students and faculty. They had a meeting with all of the instructors present. During the meeting, the guests openly shared their observation and useful recommendations regarding further developments at EBI.
On the last day of the visit, chairman of the board A. V. Zigalenko read the report and official recommendations, which later were submitted for evaluation at the plenary EAAA board meeting.
On June 6, 2006, the board of EAAA unilaterally decided to grant the Bachelor programs of EBI the status of “Candidate for Accreditation.”

In addition to this great news, we are happy to report that two students, who are also members of the pastoral board of the Free Christian Church of Lithuania, have completed their 5th year of their studies at EBI. Another lady from the United Methodist Church of Lithuania has also completed her 5 years of instruction at our school. It makes us excited that these students can contribute to the life of evangelical churches in our country.
We are very grateful to God for his provisions through our sponsors as they give financially to EBI. The year completed with no outstanding bills that need to be paid! We ask your prayers for the decisions that will need to be made in regards to the observations and recommendations of EAAA evaluation board.
